Google Talk opens the doors

Finally Google open the doors.
Hem, trying to remember my jabber.or.id’s password🙂

Today, google talk announced that it has turned on server-server connections. What does this mean for non-geeks? It means that you can use your google talk account (foo@gmail.com) and communicate with everyone on any jabber server deployed; including me via pgmillard@jabber.org and the other 186,000 users of the jabber.org server. It’s exciting to finally see a consumer IM service be fully deployed on the jabber network.
